Wickham Boyle
WICKHAM BOYLE, known as Wicki, wears many hats: journalist, writer, and finance consultant and theater producer.

As well as writing about the arts, Boyle has written numerous articles on finance, parenting and travel for The New York Times, Savoy, National Geographic, Budget Travel, Real Simple, Gotham, Grace and the Downtown Express. She was one of the founders of CODE Magazine, and editor-in-chief of THRIVE a magazine launched in late 2006 dedicated to the baby boom generation. Her essays can be heard on the AARP radio stations during their Prime Time show.

Boyle is formerly the executive director of LaMaMa Theater and produced over 60 shows during her tenure there. She has an M.B.A. from Yale University and worked as a Wall Street stock broker and still serves as an arbitrator for stock market related cases for the National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD)

Her 2001 book, A Mother’s Essays From Ground Zero garnered excellent reviews and raised over $20,000 for schools closed downtown. Boyle is currently adapting it into an opera, entitled CALLING: AN Opera of Forgiveness, which will opened as a workshop at LaMaMa in September 2008. She also collaborated with Edisa Weeks, adapting the script for Elephant Dreams at the Joyce SOHO in January 2009.

She is the mother of two and wife to Zachary Minor a life skills coach for professional athletes; the far-flung family lives in the TriBeCa loft they’ve occupied since before the neighborhood became so chic.
