Being a truly open (open to anything and everything) open mike and within a theater atmosphere, the night turns towards performance art of an extremely experimental nature. You could see poetry, a monologue, music, a true story, a film, an interpretive dance, the most amazing creative and intense performance you can ever imagine and the worst act you'll probably ever see in your life all within the space of an hour! Really it's a night that cannot be explained because every night is different and anything can and will happen.   I would like to personally invite you to come and experience for yourselves the raw beauty that is Penny's Open Mic.
