Richard has been making a living on the road for the past 15 years. His
current show debuted at Helen's Supper Club in New York City in June and
July, 2006, and has been selling out from coast to coast. He just returned
from an appearance for the Oklahoma City Prime Timers, another sold-out
show! Last month he had a return engagement at The Blue Moon Rehoboth
Beach in Delaware, and also appeared at his 7th return engagement at the
Helen Hayes Hospital in Haverstraw, New York. (He also just booked his
8th appearance...which will be in February.) A few weeks ago he performed
for the 3rd time at the YMYHA in Wayne, New Jersey, and earlier this year
he performed at another return engagement for two sold out shows at the
National Theatre in Washington, DC in celebration of Carol Channing's 86th
birthday. On June 4th he performed at the American Theater Wing's celebratory
dinner honoring Carol Channing, Tommy Tune and James Earl Jones. Carol
Channing led the standing ovation of the Broadway community after Richard's
performance. Then on June 5 he produced and starred in a special benefit
performance for the Dr. Carol Channing/Harry Kullijian Foundation for the
Arts. Carol and Harry were in attendance as were many other Broadway and
Cabaret luminaries. Richard's guest star was Neil Sedaka! The evening was
a sold out success, raising awareness and funds for students in the arts.

Richard was also nominated for the 2007 County Executive
Arts Awards in the category of Performing Artist by the Arts Council of
Rockland and has been asked to perform at their 2008 awards ceremony. He
also won a CLONEY award in Las Vegas from IGCITA, http://www.igcita.org,
for Outstanding Tribute to a Legend. Because of the audience interaction
aspect and because Richard tailors each show specifically to each audience,
no two shows are ever the same. The result is a true audience pleaser for
people of all ages and backgrounds!
It is definitely not a drag show and it is not campy - Richard simply "is"
Carol Channing. He has Carol's personal endorsement and they have become
friends over the ten years that he has been portraying her because of the
love, warmth and professionalism he puts into the tribute he has created.
